Privacy Policy

Purpose

Hermes Publisher is a private automation tool used by its operator to publish completed videos to an authorized YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API.

Google and YouTube data accessed

The application uses Google OAuth authorization granted by the operator. It may access the authorized YouTube channel identity and use YouTube upload functionality required to publish videos.

Data stored

OAuth credentials are stored on infrastructure controlled by the operator. The application also stores limited technical records such as the uploaded file SHA-256 hash, YouTube video ID, channel identifier, job identifier, upload state and timestamps to verify delivery and prevent duplicate uploads.

How data is used

Google user data is used only to provide the YouTube publishing functionality described on this site. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties.

Retention and deletion

Technical publishing records are retained only as needed for operation, auditability and duplicate protection. OAuth access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page; stored credentials can then be deleted by the operator.

Third-party services

The application uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services. Use of YouTube is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Security

Credentials are not intentionally exposed in public pages or logs. Access to the publishing service is restricted to operator-controlled infrastructure.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the application's data practices change. The effective date above will be updated accordingly.
